Donations and refunds

What a donation means here

It is a voluntary payment in support of the project. In return you get no goods, no service, no extra features, no faster queue and no ad-free tier — there are no ads anyway.

Everything the service can do is available, free, to someone who has donated nothing.

Nothing is locked behind payment

The download button is visible and works before the support dialog, during it and after. The dialog closes with the cross, the Esc key or a click outside — and the file downloads regardless.

The dialog appears at most once a day, and never to someone who has already donated.

Who takes the payment

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Card details are entered on Stripe's page: we never see, receive or store them.

All that comes back to us is the amount, the currency, the time and the payment identifier.

The amount

You choose it yourself — from 1 to 1000 in the currency of the payment page. It is a one-off payment: no subscriptions, no recurring charges, no repeats.

Refunds

A donation is voluntary, so there is no legal obligation to refund it: it is not a consumer purchase, and the fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not formally apply.

We refund anyway. If you got the amount wrong, clicked by accident or simply changed your mind, write to ceo@ptrs.ltd within fourteen days and we will return the full amount, no questions asked.

The refund goes back the way the payment came, usually within 5–10 business days — that timing is your bank's, not ours.

Someone else's card, or a mistake

If your card was charged without your knowledge, write to ceo@ptrs.ltd. We will refund it and will not ask for proof.

Where the money goes

To the server, the domain, the certificates and the time that goes into developing the service.

This is not a charitable contribution and not a donation to a non-profit: it is not tax-deductible.

Your receipt

Stripe emails a confirmation to the address given at payment. If you need different paperwork, write to us.
